List building - We will use this election as an organizing catalyst and gather key data that will help us in future campaigns‬

Member engagement - Ensure that members are getting the information they need to take action and opportunities to provide regular feedback

‬Transparency - We will provide information to members and give all an opportunity to evaluate what’s working and what’s not.

Collaboration - We will work together with parents and community members and learn from other unions in the region and nationally‬ to further build and extend our power.

Expanding our rights - Work hand in hand with the community to resist the privatization goals of the Trump administration and Project 2025 on our school communities while fighting for a contract that benefits the common good.

Open negotiations - All WTU members will be a part of the negotiation process from start to finish with a confident lead‬‭ negotiator‬.

Winning bold demands - By organizing for member ability to take organized collective action, we can protect our schools and make bold demands and win them. From educator retention to ensuring healthy schools & communities‬ we can dream and win big.

By organizing for the power to strike in conjunction with the community we can win:

• An end to mayoral control to return public‬ schools to the community.‬
